Confession time. We didn’t go to makeup school. Yup, it’s true, we didn’t. We are simply people like you with a passion for both looking and feeling goooood! We are ever so slightly obsessed with mineral makeup due to its inspiring benefits and almost magical properties. We are a husband/wife duo – you can probably guess who does what. <wink> I’m the makeup lover and dear husband handles most of the technical side. Having grown up as a tom boy, I began my adventures in make-up in my late teens, playing around with heavy eyeliner and brown lip liner –yup, I went through that stage. Flash forward to 2010, a co-worker came in one day and looked like she had lost 8 years on her face. After chatting it up, I learned of the wonders of mineral makeup. That same night, I splurged on my own little stash and fell in love instantly. The silky powdery feel, the soft and air-brushed appearance of my skin, the health benefits…I could go on and on! And best of all? I’m not going to lie. Should I have a night and not bother with washing off my makeup off, I don’t have to worry about mineral makeup killing my skin. Flash forward 3 years? Yup. Can’t. Stop. Using. It. Now my blush is mineral based and my mineral based eye shadow collection is growing.
